The Light Snowfall Moomin bowl was released in 2018. The bowl’s artwork is based on Tove Jansson’s novel Moominland Midwinter, which was published in 1957. In the book Moomintroll wakes up during hibernation into snowy Moominvalley. On the mug, Moomintroll is admiring snowfall. The Light Snowfall Moomin bowl makes a comeback to blue background, after the white backgrounds were featured in the last seven winter seasonal Moomin bowls. The original image for the bowl was made using scrape technique.
