The Hobgoblin Moomin bowl was released the same time with the Thingumy and Bob Moomin bowl in 2018. The artwork of the bowl was taken from the 1948 novel Finn Family Moomintroll, which is the only novel where the Hobgoblin appears in. Hobgoblin got his own bowl to fulfill the wishes of many Moomin collectors. A big part of Hobgoblin’s popularity must be his relatively big role in the Moomin animation series in the 1990’s.
