The Love Moomin mini plate was launched only in Japan on the 1st of March 2024 together with other new products to the Love collection. These other new products are a new blue version of the original pink Love Moomin mug from 1996, a blue mini plate, mini mugs and various home textiles. The diameter of the mini plate is 10.5 cm.
The illustration on the Love mini plate showcases the relationship between Snorkmaiden and Moomintroll. Their time together might be a bit rocky from time to time, but they always seem to work things out in the end. This plate has one of the most iconic Moomin designs, where Moomintroll and Snorkmaiden hug each other. The design was taken from the Moomin and The Martians comic strip from 1957.
