Moomin mug Family was published in 2002 and represented several of the Moominvalley’s main characters instead of a single character. The Family Moomin mug was part of the Arabia’s collection from 2002 until 2009. An additional batch of the Family mug was available in 2011 alongside the Little My Sliding mug. The illustration has been pieced together from multiple Tove and Lars Jansson’s works: comic #17 Moomin and the Comet (1958), novel Moominland Midwinter (1957), comic #8 Moomin Begins a New Life (1956) and Moomipappa from Lars Jansson’s comic #70 Moominpappa and Old Age (1974). Tove Slotte took the liberty to remove a wreath from Moominmamma’s head on the illustration.
