The Snorkmaiden lila Moomin plate was released in 2020. The third Moomin plate solely dedicated to Snorkmaiden replaced the pink Snorkmaiden plate, which had been in production from 2013 to 2018. The pink Snorkmaiden plate had replaced the yellow Snorkmaiden plate, which had been in production since 2001. The Snorkmaiden lila Moomin plate’s artwork was inspired by the 1955 comic strip Moomin on the Riviera. A Moomin movie was also made based on the same comic strip.
