The first Tooticky Moomin plate was in production from 2006 until 2007. Tooticky is an extraordinary character in the Moominvalley, because she doesn’t hibernate. She spends the whole winter living in the Moomin family’s bathing room. There are rumors going around that Tove Jansson’s inspiration for Tooticky’s character was Tuulikki Pietilä, her long-term life companion.
