Moomin tumbler Going on Vacation. The height of the tumbler is around 9 cm and the capacity is 2,2 dl. In the glass made by Moomin Arabia, the illustration shows the Moomin family preparing to go on holiday and a group of scientists have gathered together to discuss the weather. The artwork is based on Jansson’s comic ”Moomin’s Desert Island” and has also been seen in the 2018 summer season.
Designed especially for children, the glass is more narrow at the bottom and is easy for small hands to use. Its centre of gravity is also at the base, so the glass won’t easily fall over. The glasses can be stored in neat stacks and their amusing illustrations bring joy to every moment at the table. A water theme runs through the illustrations, and the pictures take on different meanings, depending on the level and colour of the liquid in the glass. Suitable for either every day or just special celebrations, Iittala uses only quality glass and organic colours that last, even when the glasses are cleaned regularly in a dishwasher.
