The Midsummer Moomin plate was released in 2016. The artwork of the plate was inspired by Tove Jansson’s novel Moominsummer Madness and her comic strip Moomin’s Winter Follies. Unlike other Moomin plates, the Midsummer plate’s artwork is done by using red outlines. The same series Midsummer Moomin mug is the last Moomin mug manufactured in Arabianranta, Helsinki. Hence, the mug is one of collectors’ favorites.
