The Summer Theatre Moomin mug was released in the summer of 2017 and became immediately a hit among the collectors. The mug’s artwork is based on the 1954 novel Moominsummer Madness. The mug’s design features a lion, or more like a lion costume, Snorkmaiden who is fascinated by dresses and Moominpappa and Moomintroll, who are busy with the script. A Summer Theatre themed plate was released in addition to the mug, some of its artwork was also taken from the comic strip Conscientious Moomin.
