Moomin mug Festive Moments is part of the broader Moomin 80 anniversary collection by Moomin Arabia. This collection is the most extensive range of Moomin products ever released simultaneously. The items in the Festive Moments collection are designed especially for shared celebrations and as thoughtful gift ideas. You can find a special Moomin 80 stamp on the bottom of the mug. The collection will be available for a limited time only, from October 30, 2025, to March 31, 2026.
The illustration on the Festive Moments mug depicts an evening party in Moominvalley, lit by glowworms and fireworks. Around a garden table, the Moomin family and other valley residents have gathered. The table is overflowing with cake, pancakes, and other treats. Moomintroll, caught up in the festive spirit, has climbed onto a chair to raise a celebratory toast to the guests. The Moomins in the illustration feature the narrower snouts and less rounded features familiar from the 2025 Moomin’s Day mug. The artwork is adapted from Tove Jansson’s novel Finn Family Moomintroll (1948).
