The Golden Tale Moomin mug was released in 2019 during the spring winter as a part of a series of four animation Moomin mugs. The mug’s artwork is based on the Moominvalley TV series’ episode 5 The Golden Tale. Gutsy Animation’s Moominvalley animation TV series gave Arabia’s Moomin mugs a completely new kind of a design. The stories and illustrations in the new animation series are in line with the original stories. The new Moomin animation manages to nicely utilize Tove’s characteristic style of using lights and shades.
