The Hurray! Moomin mug was only sold in 2012. This special mug was launched in honor of Helsinki’s pick as the design capital of 2012. Mug’s illustration is based on Tove Jansson’s picture book Who Will Comfort Toffle? The original picture in the book of celebrating Moomins nicely captures the atmosphere in the worlds design capital Helsinki.
Even though this Moomin mug is considered as a part of the special Moomin mugs, it has a regular stamp on the bottom. In addition to the mug, a similar themed Moomin spoon was sold during 2012. These products were only sold through official World Design Capital Helsinki retailers. Nowadays Hurray! mug is extremely popular among the mug collectors since it was only a limited edition.
