Moomin mug Ice Swimming is the winter seasonal mug of 2025. The illustration on the mug is based on Tove Jansson’s comic Moomin’s Winter Follies from 1955 as was the previous winter seasonal mug Ski Jumping from 2024. The Ice Swimming mug continues the same story line and the pastel colored scheme that was started by the winter seasonal collection in 2022. The winter seasonal mug is available for the first time exclusively from the Moomin Arabia online store and physical shops, as well as from the Moomin.com online store and Moomin Shop retail locations.
At the heart of the Ice Swimming mug’s illustration is once again the familiar winter sports all-rounder, Mr. Brisk. He reveals the secret to his well-being: ice swimming. As Mymble and Snorkmaiden admire Mr. Brisk’s athleticism, even Moomintroll sees no other option than to follow him into the icy water. The Ice Swimming Moomin mug concludes the four-part winter seasonal mug series, each themed around different winter sports. In addition to the mug, the Ice Swimming collection also includes a bowl.
