The Midsummer Moomin mug was released in 2016. The mug’s artwork was inspired by Tove Jansson’s novel Moominsummer Madness and her comic strip Moomin’s Winter Follies. Unlike other Moomin mugs, the Midsummer mug’s artwork is done by using red outlines. The Midsummer Moomin mug is the last Moomin mug manufactured in Arabianranta, Helsinki. Hence, the mug is one of collectors’ favorites.
