The Millenium Moomin mug was launched late in 1999. Among the Moomin mug collectors the Millenium mug is categorized as a special edition mug. The series of the special edition mugs was started by the Christmas Greeting mug in 1997. However, the Millenium mug was the first Moomin mug that came with a special stamp. In addition to the painting Moomin, the bottom stamp has an added special text.
