Moomin mug Moomintroll on Ice was launched by Arabia in 1999. This mug was discontinued a year earlier than the Moominmamma and Moominpappa character mugs launched at the same time in 1999. The drawings that display Moomintroll from both sides were picked by Tove Slotte from Tove Jansson’s comic strip Moomin’s Winter Follies. The mug’s clear white and blue theme brings to mind the flag of Finland to many of its collectors.
