Moomin mug Moominvalley Park Japan 2026 is also known as “Simple Joy”. The mug will be launched in the Moominvalley theme park in Hanno, Japan on February 28th 2026. The mug is sold only inside the theme park. The production quantity of the mug is 10 000 pcs.
This mug is the third one available exclusively at the Moominvalley Park theme park in Hanno, Japan. The first version was launched at the park’s opening in 2019. A year later, a 1st anniversary edition of the same mug was released with slightly different packaging and a different bottom stamp. In 2023, the mug received a somewhat larger update, although the theme of the illustration remained partly the same.
The 2026 Moominvalley Park Japan mug features an entirely new illustration style, showing the Moomins in joyful everyday tasks and moments. This is likely where its English name, “Simple Joy,” comes from. The illustration showcases different characters from the Moominvalley enjoying their favourite tasks that brings them happiness in everyday life. Going through the mug you can see Moomintroll and Snufkin fishing, Moominmamma watering flowers and Moominpappa hanging a hammock on a tree.
