Moomin pie dish Home at Last is a part of Moomin Arabia’s Home at Last collection launched in 2025. In the Nordics, the collection consists of a pie dish and a 0.4 liter Moomin mug. The items are available only until the end of 2025. Some parts of the Home at Last collection are available only in Japan. These Japan exclusive items include a mini plate, a mini mug and a 0.3 liter mug. The collection is being sold from 6th of March until the end of the year 2025.
The illustration on the Home at Last pie dish is based on Tove Janssons comic Moomin and Family Life (1955). In that story Moominmamma and Moominpappa rescue Moomintroll from the mercy of the sea. Soon after they realize him to be their long-lost son, and the family can return home together at last.
As a part of the Moomin 80th anniversary Moomin Arabia and Red Cross are working together in collecting funds for those in need. The Home at Last collection is the first implementation of this collaboration. For each item sold, one euro is donated to the local Red Cross Society to support the humanitarian work of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC). Moomin Arabia will also be joining the Red Cross in Japan at the Osaka Expo, an event that brings together people, businesses and non-profits from around the world in an effort to tackle issues facing humankind on a global scale. The Home at Last collection will also be available for purchase during the Osaka Expo Fair from the 13th of April until the 13th of October 2025.
