Moomin pitcher Family is made by Moomin Arabia. The pitcher is exclusively sold only at Finnish retail chain Kesko’s K-stores and K-Citymarket online store from 27th of November 2024 until 12th of January 2025. The pitcher is a part of a collection that consists of a 0.4 liter mug and a new bowl.
This Family Moomin pitcher features several similar elements from the original Family Moomin pitcher launched back in 2005. The illustration has been pieced together from multiple Tove and Lars Jansson’s works: comic #17 Moomin and the Comet (1958), novel Moominland Midwinter (1957), comic #8 Moomin Begins a New Life (1956) and Moomipappa from Lars Jansson’s comic #70 Moominpappa and Old Age (1974). The original pitcher’s volume is 0.7 liters whereas the new version’s volume is 1 liters.
