Moomin plate Hemulen was in production from 2004 until 2006. There are two different versions of this plate, a 1-sided version and a double sided version. All of the earlier Arabia Moomin plates have these two different versions of them. The first plates were double sided where the illustration on the plate continued to the back side as well. Later this production style was ended and the 1-sided plates came to replace them. A lot of the earlier Arabia Moomin plates were also originally sold with a nice looking cardboard box. Hemulen is known as a passionate collector. He owns stamp, bug and insect collections. So it should not come as a surprise that his plate is also one of the Moomin collectors’ favorites.
