Moomin plate Moominpappa grey replaced the previous Moominpappa Moomin plate that was discontinued in 2022. The new Moominpappa grey plate is already a third plate in the Moomin by Arabia Classics Collection that features Moominpappa as the main character.
The illustration on the Moomin plate Moominpappa grey is based on Tove Jansson’s comic Moomin winter from 1959. Moominpappa is usually known as an adventure-loving character, and in his youth he sure had his fair share of adventures. The illustration on this plate, however, shows a different side of Moominpappa. One which acts as an energetic head of the family who’s always willing to grab a toolkit around Moominhouse. Moominpappa is preparing Moominhouse for the winter by insulating the windows with wooden boards and making sure there’s enough firewood for the stove.
The Moominpappa grey set includes a mug, a bowl and a plate.
