Moomin tumbler Evening Swim. The height of the tumbler is around 9 cm and the capacity is 2,2 dl. Moomin Arabia’s glass artwork shows the Moomin family enjoying a holiday on the island, where they make jump from a rock and plank rack to the water. The gentle summer atmosphere is topped off by a skyline coloured red by the evening sun. The artwork is based on Jansson’s comic “Moomin’s Desert Island” and has also been seen in the 2019 summer mug illustration.
Designed especially for children, the glass is more narrow at the bottom and is easy for small hands to use. Its centre of gravity is also at the base, so the glass won’t easily fall over. The glasses can be stored in neat stacks and their amusing illustrations bring joy to every moment at the table. A water theme runs through the illustrations, and the pictures take on different meanings, depending on the level and colour of the liquid in the glass. Suitable for either every day or just special celebrations, Iittala uses only quality glass and organic colours that last, even when the glasses are cleaned regularly in a dishwasher.
