The Evening Swim Moomin mug was released in 2019 as an addition to the series of Moomin mugs inspired by Tove Jansson’s comic strips. The Evening Swim mug got its original artwork from Tove Jansson’s comic strip Moomin’s Desert Island. The comic strip was originally published in the Evening News newspaper in 1955. Illustrator Tove Slotte has combined these comic strips into a design where the Moomin family is on an evening swim. The mug manages to magnificently capture a sunset and summery vibes.
