Moomin mug Blue is now available in new, larger 0,4 litre size. This mug was launched to celebrate the 50th anniversary of a Finnish retail chain K-Citymarket. The mug is at first only available at K-Citymarket stores in Finland. The new bigger size was made due to long time customer wishes for a larger version of the iconic Moomin mug.
There has been a smaller 0,3 litre version of this Moomin mug with the same illustration in the 90’s. Check out the video of the original mug Blue from our YouTube channel. The mug is also known as the painting Moomins mug. One of the mug’s original drawings is from Tove Jansson’s cartoon cover art. This same drawing of a painting Moomin can also be found stamped on the bottom of other Moomin mugs.
