Moomin mug Love beige 0.4l is part of the limited Love beige collection by Moomin Arabia for 2026. The collection also celebrates the 30-year journey of the iconic Love Moomin mug, even though Moomin Arabia launched a separate Love 30th anniversary collection earlier in 2026. The mug has a capacity of 0.4 liters.
Love appears in its many forms as a common theme in several of Moomin Arabia’s new releases for 2026. The original illustration from 1996 is based on four different comic strips created by Tove Jansson: Moomin and the Martians (1957), Jungle Life (1956), Building a House (1956), and Snorkmaiden Goes Rococo (1958).
The most iconic scene in the illustration – and perhaps in Moomin Arabia’s entire product history – shows Moomintroll and Snorkmaiden hugging, taken from the comic Moomin and the Martians. In the story, a curious Moomintroll examines a broken device found in the Martians’ crashed flying saucer and accidentally shrinks himself and Moominmamma to miniature size. This sets off a whirlwind of events, which ends when one of the Martians helps reverse the shrinking effect. Relieved, Snorkmaiden hugs Moomintroll, who is back to his normal self.
In addition to the mug, the Love beige collection includes a pie dish and a bowl.
