The Moominpappa Thinking Moomin mug set the trend for Arabia’s Moomin character mugs. Soon after the success of the early 90’s mugs, Arabia realized that the mugs were looking too similar. The idea about presenting a single Moomin character from both sides on a single colored background was born in the late 90’s. Black background was a perfect fit for Moominpappa, since even his trademark top hat is black! The popular mug remained in production until 2013 and we have been told that it is the number one mug for the dads worldwide.
