Moomin mug Stinky in Action replaced the previous Stinky Moomin mug that stayed in production for 20 years, before it was ultimately discontinued in 2021. The new Stinky in Action Moomin mug is only the second Moomin mug with Stinky as the main character.
The illustration on the Moomin mug Stinky in Action is based on the comic strips Moomin Begins a New Life (1956) and Club Life in Moominvalley (1957). In the illustration we see the well-known villain and prankster of Moominvalley. This time though Stinky has good intentions in mind. Stinky is rescuing Moominmamma’s handbag from a pooch. Even though Stinky is also known for stealing, he would never steal Moominmamma’s precious handbag.
The Stinky in Action set includes a mug, a bowl and a plate.
