The Tove’s Jubileum Moomin Mug was launched in 2014, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of creator of the Moomins, Tove Jansson’s birthday. The main illustration of the mug was based on Tove Jansson’s book The Dangerous Journey. This Moomin mug has also a different version, Tove’s Jubileum (with glasses), which has an additional glasses drawing inside the cup. The version with the glasses is significantly rarer since only one out of every sixth mug had this special design. The special version of the mug was named Tove’s Jubileum (with glasses) Moomin Mug.
Besides the mug, Tove’s Jubileum Collection consisted of 3 different sized decked jars as well. On the bottom of all these products, a signature stamp typical to the special mugs can be found. Two euros were donated to UNICEF per every Tove’s Jubileum product, all of which was used to support children’s education across the world.
